The scariest day of my life!

Just enjoying a typical day at the lake...
Minding our own business...
Catching fish left and right...
Sayd, "The Master," proving her Dora pole LUCKY...
Rain can't bother us any...
A couple hours spent...
Smiles. Smiles. Smiles.
Time to load up.
Time to get home...
Heading for the dock...
BAM!
The boat is...
on...
FIRE!!!
Saydee is crying.
Panic is among us.
Where is the extinguisher?
What should we do?
Where is the orange flag?
Slow Motion...
Get to the top of the boat, away from the motor fire.
Extinguisher empty.
Dump the soda.
Dad starts pouring water from the cooler.
Mike finds another container to use.
Saydee still crying.
Shelli comforting Saydee.
Parker waving the down the Ranger.
Looks like he's coming!
Ranger gets in truck and drives away...
What???!!!
Fire out.
Troll back to shore.
Everyone fine.
Everyone shaking.
What a day at the lake!

Saydee Lining Everyone Out

MeMoRiaL DaY
We went to help Grams and Gramps with their fence on Memorial Day... and by 'we' I mean everybody other than myself:) Usually I am at LEAST a good critic, but I can't even say that for myself! I mostly sat around and enjoyed my family being together. It was wonderful. What could be better than to spend a day with people you love and get something accomplished as well. I have the coolest family ever!

Baby Chloe 36 Weeks

Baby Chloe
So I was having this nagging feeling to double check on Chloe since our last ultrasound was 20 weeks ago. It was so strong and I just couldn't shrug it, so I asked Dr. B for another look and he thought it would be a great idea. The tech found some calcifacations on my placenta-meaning that it is aging sooner than it should. I haven't heard back from the radiologist nor Dr. B, but I have an appointment tomorrow and should be able to figure out the plan. I guess typically with this situation, they check the baby through sonogram frequently from this point on to ensure the baby is getting the nutrition she needs. They will check the amount of fluid and her weight gain. If at any point she looks to be unsafe or unhealthy, I suppose they would induce. Can't wait to see what Doc says exactly.
This is the picture from our ultrasound last friday. I can not believe how life like and vivid it is. It's amazing to me that I can already tell she has a Greene nose and chubby lil cheeks at only five pounds. This makes it real for me... not that the big appendage on the front of my body isn't real enough, but it sometimes seems like just that- an appendage!
The tech said she also has hair, which Sayd didn't have much of- so that is SO exciting! Now I really can't wait to see what color it is! I think that will be the most anticipated by all.
