Today was just a normal day. We TRIED catching up on laundry. Did yard work. Sayd played outside in the mud practically all day. Lo snuck a little taste of it and Sayds got after me for not watching her better :)
I made chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles... Messy, but good. I took dinner to Courtnie and saw baby Slate again. Sayd is upset and thinks it isn't fair that they have TWO babies while we only have one. She held the little guy FOREVER (Thanks Court).
Mom and Oak came over to enjoy some soup with us. We watched a really interesting show about Yellowstone. Animals are amazing creatures and we ARE still animals, no matter how sophisticated we become.
Sayd is showing some major signs of boredom ALREADY. She is getting really LOUD like she did when Chloe first came home or like when Jade and Oakley go back to school in the fall. So, activities HERE WE COME! Storytime will no longer work to substitute school.
Chloe does this really cute thing when she's tired. She will rub her eyes and throw a fit and I'll hold her. If she doesn't stop crying I'll ask her if she would rather lay in her bed and she INSTANTLY is quiet. She may try again, I'll ask the same question... same result. Within five minutes, she's out. This has gone on for several days. She is so sensitive. I think the difference is that, with her, I have actually layed her down to cry in her crib... with Sayd... I could never do it!
